Sathyapriya S Ms., MBA

Ms. Sathyapriya is passionate about teaching and is keen in utilizing technology to make it more effective. She is a gold medalist in her BSc (CT) degree. She did her MBA degree from GRG School of Management Studies, specializing in Systems and Finance. She is currently pursuing her PhD degree in the area of Intellectual Capital. She has also undergone the three and a half month Faculty Development Programme at IIM Ahmedabad (IIMA). Prior to joining GRGSMS, she was Senior Processing Officer at Maersk Infotech, Chennai for two years.

She has been an active team member in organizing conferences such as “Contemporary Issues in Indian Financial Services” (November 2013); “Building Futuristic Organizations: Developing Sustainable Competitive Strategies” (March 2013); and “Rethinking the MBA – Business Education at a Crossroads” (January 2012).

Presented a research paper on ‘Virtual Organization : A Technology driven Strategy for Futuristic Organization’ in the National conference on ‘Building Futuristic Organizations: Developing Sustainable Competitive Strategies’ organised by GRG School of Management Studies on 8-9 March, 2013.
Presented a research paper on ‘Factors Influencing Implementation of MIS in Small and Medium Scale Industry’ in the International Management Convention organised by ASBM in collaboration with AMDISA on 7 February, 2014.
Wrote a case on ‘Implementing Information Technology in Small and Medium Scale Sector’ by visiting Penguin engineers and Roots Industries India Limited at Coimbatore.
Developed a case titled ‘Prayaas – Students’ Forum of IIM-A’ during the FDPM programme at IIM-A

Her areas of interest are IT for Management (including Management Information Systems) and Financial Management (particularly, Risk Management and Insurance, and Behavioral Finance)
