Dr. R. Prabusankar is Professor in Marketing and Operations &Supply chain Management at GRGSMS. He holds B.E., Degree in Civil Engineering, and M.B.A. &M.Phil. (Entrepreneurship) Degrees. He completed his Ph.D. in Management from Bharathiar University. He is a SET qualified teacher. He has over eight years of industrial experience and over two decades of academic experience. He has held various positions, such as Project Engineer (Wind Energy), and Project Head for various Civil Engineering Projects. His areas of interest include Digital Marketing, Retail Marketing, Consumer Behaviour, Operations Management and Supply Chain Management. He was a member of the faculty team who successfully completed a study on the scope for the production of decorative coatings for Titan Paints and Chemicals Pvt. Ltd in 2012 and conducted a Market Potential study for Ask Infra Pvt Ltd, Coimbatore, in 2018-2019.

He has been actively engaged in industrial & academic collaboration and organized many industry-academic interactive programmes for the benefit of students. He was instrumental in the setting up Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) /Institutions Innovation Council in reputed institutions. He organized many Panel discussions and Business Plan workshops during his academic tenure. As a National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN)Coordinator, he has created an awareness and motivated students to pursue the NEN Certificate Programmes.

His research papers have appeared in several reputed International Journals. He has also presented many research papers at National and International Conferences. He has written two case studies in association with SME entrepreneurs, which are published in Scopus and UGC Care Journals. He has been recognized as Supervisor to Guide Ph.D. scholars under Bharathiar University and he is guiding three Scholars for their doctoral degree. He has conducted FDPs, MDPs, and StudentDevelopmentProgrammes in various disciplines. He received the Best Management Faculty award from Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore during the year 2016-2017 and 2019-2020. Ms. S Aarthy is an Assistant Professor at GRG School of Management Studies. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering and a Master’s degree in MBA with a specialization in HR from VIT University, Vellore.

With a total experience of 6 years, she has spent 4 years in the industry and 2 years in academia. During her industry tenure, she worked as a Program Analyst for Cognizant Technology Solutions. After completing her MBA, she served as an Organizational Development Consultant for a manufacturing firm in Chennai, where she was involved in a diversification project of a manufacturing firm in Chennai. Her areas of interest encompass Human Resource Management, Organizational Behaviour, and HR Analytics. She has a strong inclination towards Business Communication and has also worked as a freelance trainer, providing coaching to IELTS aspirants and Young Adult Learners. She holds certifications as Business English Communication Trainer, Instructional Designer and Tech Recruiter.

During her tenure as a Placement Coordinator, Ms. Aarthy was responsible for coordinating the end-to-end placement process for UG and PG students. Her role involved establishing connections with companies, organizing campus recruitment events, coordinating interviews, and ensuring successful job placements for the students.

J. Meena Maheswari is an alumna of GRGSMS. She was awarded M.Phil from Alagappa University, Karaikudi. Her doctoral thesis was on ‘Indian Capital Market’ and She obtained her doctoral degree from Bharathiar University in 2023. She holds 12 years of teaching experience and an intense industrial experience of 10 years. She has appeared as a guest speaker in various Colleges and has conducted sessions relating to the Derivatives market. Her business and entrepreneurial engagements allowed her to explore innovative business strategies. Her ardent passion towards teaching and her industry experience makes her an effective academician to impart knowledge to budding management executives.

Dr Jayashree has 14 years of experience including 13.5 years of Teaching and 6 months of Industrial experience. She is passionate about teaching Accounting and Finance as core courses through a hands-on application based approach. She holds Master degrees in Commerce and Business Administration. She has completed her Doctorate in Management on the topic “A Study on Behavioural Factors Influencing Equity and Commodity Investors in Decision Making”. She cleared NET in June 2011. She has participated in several National and International conferences and presented papers. She has her publications in National and International Journals including in a Scopus Indexed Journal. She received the “Faculty Excellence Award” in 2019 during her previous Academic tenure.

Jayashree has completed a certification on “Applied Financial Statement Analysis” and attended a workshop on “Financial Modeling and Valuation” certified by EY. She completed her 6 months online course on “Financial Analysis Prodegree ” certified by KPMG. Apart from academics, she has coordinated Entrepreneurial Development (ED) Cell, Student Affairs – Shreyas Forum and Community Immersion Programmes in nearby villages.

Dr K S Hariharan has 14 years of teaching experience in Arts & Sciences and Engineering Colleges. Prior to that, he has 7 years of work experience in various organizations. He has earned his Ph.D., from Alagappa University, Karaikudi, in June 2018 in Electronic Human Resource Management. He completed his Under-graduation (B.Com.) from Madurai Kamaraj University and Post-Graduation (MBA) from K.L.N. College of Engineering, Madurai, affiliated to Anna University. He was awarded the “Best Outgoing Student of the year 2009” by the Department of Management Studies.

Hariharan has published research articles in National and International Journals; and has presented papers in several Conferences and Seminars. He has attended many academic/research-oriented Faculty Development Programmes sponsored by Central Government funding agencies and attended academic workshops on various management-related themes.

Hariharan has served as a resource person for the activity-based Soft-skills training for more than 2000 new entrants of India Post (Central Government), Retail Sales Associates, Employee State Insurance Lower Division Clerks, Staff, B.E. & B. Tech Students and Secondary School Students on various areas like Motivation, Communication, Listening Skills, Self-motivation, Interpersonal Skills and Time Management from July 2014 to February 2022. He has served as Judge for Inter-Collegiate Meet events and workshops. He also served as a Coordinator and delivered a Guest Lecture on YOGA and Meditation at Young Students Scientist Programme (YSSP-2012).

Dr M Reshma has completed her B-Tech (Fashion Technology) from Anna University and post-graduation in Business Administration specialized in Human Resources. She also holds a Doctorate of Philosophy in Management. Her Doctoral research was awarded with the ICSSR Doctoral Fellowship for the year 2019-20. She has also completed her Masters in Applied Psychology. She is NET qualified both in Management and Personnel Management / Labour Welfare. She has worked in an institution as Assistant Professor in the Department of Management. She has published articles in reputed journals and presented papers in both National and International conferences. Her study about Entrepreneurial intention and Self-efficacy of Women students has won the best paper award in Entrepreneurship Stream in ‘The International Conference on Innovative practices in Management and Entrepreneurship’ organized by BNM institute of Management, Bangalore in December 2018. Recently, she has registered a captivating case “The Most Uncommon Common Man” with Case Center, UK, focusing on Mr. K. Nagarajan, the discerning Managing Director of Ramraj Cottons.

Dr G Brindha, is an alumna of Avinashilingam University for Women with an undergraduate degree in Information Technology. She has her MBA degree from Bharathiar School of Management and Entrepreneurship Development (BSMED), Bharathiar University. She also holds an M.Phil and Ph.D in Management from Bharathiar University.  She is a University approved Management faculty and is UGC – NET qualified in Management. Her areas of academic interests include Marketing, Artificial Intelligence in Management and Business Analytics. With over eight years of academic experience, she is a tech enthusiast with profound knowledge about numerous emerging technological tools. She has widely published in National and International refereed journals and is presently guiding two doctoral fellows. She is also a consultant with ELGI and has actively participated in their Digital Transformation Project (DOJO) initiatives at PSGRKCW. She has recently registered a compelling case titled “The Most Uncommon Common Man” at Case Center, UK, centering around Mr. K. Dr. R. Initha Rina is an accomplished professional with a strong academic background and a passion for teaching. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from PSGR Krishnammal College for Women, a Master’s in Business Administration from GRG School of Management Studies, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications. With a specialization in Marketing, she earned her Ph.D. from Bharathiar University in 2018. Her doctoral research focused on “Consumer Behaviour of Children on Fast Food with special reference to Coimbatore.”

Driven by her passion for teaching, Initha Rina has spent 19 years in the field of education. Her extensive experience has allowed her to connect with students from diverse backgrounds and nurture their growth and development.Currently, she is the Admission Coordinator at GRGSMS, where she facilitates the admission process and supports prospective students. Additionally, she serves as the Coordinator of the Community Immersion Programme.

She has actively engaged in research activities throughout her career. She has presented her findings at numerous national and international conferences, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in the field of marketing. Her research work has also been published in peer reviewed journals. She believes that with the right mindset and dedication, individuals can overcome challenges and achieve their goals.

Prof. Balasubramanian is currently the Director of GRG Centre for Advanced Studies, Coimbatore. He also holds additional responsibility as the Director, Office of International Relations, and as Director of the Teaching-Learning Centre at PSGR Krishnammal College for Women. He is a Graduate in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Madras and completed the PG Diploma in Management (MBA) from IIM Calcutta. He is a Fellow of the All India Management Association.

He has over 50 years of professional experience. For the first 30 years after graduation, he held senior executive positions in private and public sector industry – including Larsen & Toubro, BHEL, Parry & Company, and Wartsila Corporation – in India and abroad. He joined the academia in 1999/2000. Prior to joining the GRG Institutions, Coimbatore in February 2007, he was a Professor at T.A. Pai Management Institute, Manipal (TAPMI).

Prof. Balasubramanian is actively involved in higher education, training, and consulting. His focus is in management education. His academic interests are in the fields of Business Leadership and Strategy. He has conducted over 200 highly rated training programmes for 60+ organizations and designed and delivered 40+ Faculty Development Programmes. He has been a resource person for numerous sessions on business leadership, strategic management, building a visionary organisation, and time management. He has delivered over 250 keynote talks and chaired many sessions on higher education. He is the author of a widely acclaimed book titled “The Art of Business Leadership: Indian Experiences” (New Delhi: Sage Publications, 2007). He has authored several white papers on management education and industry-institute interaction for AIMA, CII and other associations.

He has actively served as a Member of the Council of Management of All India Management Association (AIMA) and the Managing Committee of Coimbatore Management Association. He continues to serve on the Education Panel of CII Southern Region and of CII Coimbatore Zone.

Dr. Vandana Madhavkumar has over 17 years of professional experience in industry and academia.

A UGC-NET qualified faculty, Vandana has an MBA, MPhil and PhD in Management and is an alumna of IIM Ahmedabad (FDP – 2010). She is a recognized PhD Research Supervisor of Bharathiar University, Coimbatore.

A proficient management educator, GRG Trust awarded Vandana the ‘Best Faculty Award’ in March 2017 for her contribution to the institute. She has been awarded the gold medal at the ‘J.L. Batra Best Research Paper Award’ by the Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS). Vandana has been teaching management students and training working professionals and faculty. She regularly handles sessions for faculty in communication skills and undertakes consulting assignments on HR solutions for a number of companies, and is regularly invited as a speaker by professional bodies.

She held the additional responsibility as the programme administrator in GRG Centre for Advanced Studies (GRGCAS), an institute part of GRG Trust during 2017-2022. GRGCAS focuses on learning and development programmes in management for working professionals and as part of GRGCAS, she has designed, developed and conducted numerous Management Development Programmes and Executive Development Programmes in HR, Business Communication and Soft Skills for executives of notable companies in and around Coimbatore.

Vandana has participated in many seminars, conferences and workshops and published widely in reputed journals and written cases. One of the cases she co-authored has been registered with the Case Centre, UK. She is the recipient of several best paper awards at conferences. Vandana has successfully completed research projects funded by UGC and ICSSR and conducted faculty development programme sponsored by AICTE (ATAL).

She is the international affairs coordinator and regularly handles sessions for international students.  She has designed, developed and conducted online programmes for CETYs University Mexico on ‘Soft Skills’ and ‘Emotional Intelligence’. She also handled sessions for the students of Nottingham Trent University (NTU), UK while participating in the Global Responsibility Week organized by Nottingham Business School, UK.

Vandana believes in developing strong relationship with the industry and is currently the Industry Relations Coordinator of GRGSMS. She is also the domain Chair of Human Resources. She is a management committee member of Coimbatore Management Association (CMA) and life member of National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM).
